The 'Pinas Sarap' host revealed that just like many of us, she had struggled due to the unforeseen changes that the health crisis has brought upon us.

Nevertheless, Kara said the challenges that the pandemic brought also came with important life lessons for everyone.

“I realized na may mga bagay na mas importante e. Ano itong mga bagay na mas importante? 'Yung ating family, yung ating kalusugan, yung ating safety.

“Ayun.

She also emphasized how the pandemic has taught everyone to shift their focus from just minding one's own needs and wants to being more selfless and lending a helping hand.

“So, in a way, this pandemic…itong 2020, it really taught us how to be resilient.

Pero let's do our part. Let's also do our part para maiangat naman natin 'yung buhay ng ibang tao.”

Kara also inspired everyone to live a better life in 2021 and the years to come by sharing three things that she says can make life more beautiful and happier.

“Lagi kong sinasabi po to everyone, to all my fans, to everyone I meet, I always tell them three things to make your life more beautiful: magdasal, magpasalamat at magmalasakit.

“So, magdasal, magpasalamat at magmalasakit. Magiging masaya ka.”
