Karel Marquez and husband Sean Fariñas mark their son Kobe's first birthday in an intimate celebration as they stay home due to the quarantine.

Karel would've wished for her youngest child to be surrounded by their relatives and friends on his birthday but the actress said that their little party would do for now.

Their family decorated their house and joined Kobe in blowing his birthday cake.

Karel wrote, “Not the way we envisioned it but what matters most is that we celebrate "YOU", even if it is just us... Wishing to celebrate you more, my anak, with all our family and friends in the many, many more years to come! Happy FIRST birthday to our bubu lablab, @kobe_farinas! Mommy loves you so so so much!!!”

She continued thanking people who made Kobe's celebration possible and said, “We are grateful for every blessing and thankful for today despite the uncertain times. Kobe, I love you!!! Now go eat well and enjoy this special day, anak!!! Soon, we will go swimming since you love to do that so much!”

Kobe is Karel and Sean's firstborn. The actress has two children from her previous relationship, whom her husband has taken as his own. They got married in December 2016.
