Sang'gre Alena for Tawag ng Tanghalan? Check out Karylle's emotional rendition of the theme song of 'Encantadia'.
It's Showtime host and OG Sang'gre Karylle delighted the Madlang Kapuso audience watching their show live in the studio by singing the Encantadia OST titled "Mahiwagang Puso".
In a short video shared on the Facebook page of Encantadia Saga, Karylle, who played Sang'gre Alena, sang the theme song during the commercial break.
Fans of the iconic telefantasya series showered Karylle with lots of praise for her nostalgic performance.
One netizen posted, “Omggg it sounds so 2005. I remember and still know this song.”
Another one commented, “Nakakakilabooot! Nakaka-miss!”
A new Encantadia series is currently in production. Bianca Umali is the lead star in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre as Terra, while Angel Guardian was cast to play the role of Deia. Kelvin Miranda and Faith da Silva will portray Sang'gre Adamus and Flamarra, respectively.
Also part of the powerhouse cast are Rhian Ramos as Mitena, Solenn Heussaff, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez, Glaiza De Castro, and many more.
