In a recent social media post, It's Showtime host Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon surprised fans of the Kapuso hit series Encantadia as she brought back her character, the original Sang'gre Alena, by chanting the legendary“Hashna Lashna Mashna” spell.

The video was captured at a restaurant in Baguio, where the singer-actress performed as a guest.

Karylle's effortless and graceful rendition of the iconic chant was clearly visible, immediately garnering a wave of positive reactions from netizens.

“Si Karylle talaga ang may kakayanan at talento na mabigyang justice ang mahiwagang kanta na ito. Yes to OG Alena!” a netizen wrote in the comments.

“Omg og Alena,” a fan commented.

“OG QUEEN ALENA OF 2005. ANG HUNI NG SIRENA NG ENCANTADIA 2005. Namiss ko to,” another one wrote.

At the end of the video, the singer-actress jokingly expressed her hope that all negativities would disappear, even quipping that she hoped gas prices would drop following her rendition of Alena's powerful chant.

“Wala na sila. Na-imagine niyo? Nawala na; all the negativities, goodbye! Mga gas prices, bumaba sila, natakot sila,” Karylle jokingly said.

Karylle was the first to portray the character of Alena, the keeper of the Water Gem (Brilyante ng Tubig), in the original version of the hit series Encantadia released in 2005. She starred alongside Iza Calzado-Wintle as Amihan, Sunshine Dizon as Pirena, and Diana Zubiri as Danaya.

Currently, Karylle is busy as a host on It's Showtime and with various theater plays, but this moment proves that her connection to the beloved character remains very much alive.
