Kate Valdez is a product of cloning in the upcoming GMA drama series 'Unica Hija.'
Kate Valdez is now ready to take on a new role for the upcoming GMA drama series Unica Hija.
The Kapuso actress just entered the taping bubble for the new soap opera, as seen on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, July 20.
"Day 1 lock-in for Unica Hija," she said.
Kate is both nervous and excited for her new character because she is a product of cloning in Unica Hija where she will play dual roles.
"Nakakanerbyos po pero mas nangingibabaw 'yung saya ko dahil pinagkatiwalaan po ako ng ng mother network ko, ng GMA, para sa project na ito,” Kate told GMA News entertainment correspondent Lhar Santiago during Unica Hija's recent story conference.
"And I'm very excited to work with sa mga makakasama ko po dito sa series na ito dahil most of them 'di ko pa po sila nakakatrabaho kaya sobrang excited ako at napakaganda ng story at bagong-bagong at I'm sure sobrang maraming magkakagusto sa series na 'to."
For the first time, Kate is paired with Kelvin Miranda for Unica Hija.
Joining them in the cast are Katrina Halili, Mark Herras, Faith Da Silva, Athena Madrid, Boboy Garovillo, and Alfred Vargas in a very special role.
Also part of the series are Maricar De Mesa, Bernard Palanca, Maybelyn Dela Cruz, Biboy Ramirez, Jennie Gabriel, and Jemwell Ventenilla.
Unica Hija will air on GMA Afternoon Prime.
