An emotional Kate Valdez was seen by the press as she addressed recent rumors about her that she had an “attitude problem” and an air of “entitlement.”
She said, “Na-shock ako kasi hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling. So parang, napaisip ako kung may nakaaway ba ako o may nasabihan ba akong hindi maganda.
“Wala naman akong car, wala naman akong sariling bahay, nagre-rent ako and I'm proud to say na hindi ako mayaman.”

During the interview, the 19-year-old actress admitted that the rumors have already affected her personal life.
“It's so challenging at nasa-sad ako kasi nami-misinterpret nila ako na hindi naman ako ganoon.
“So, naku-question ko yung sarili ko na, nasaan 'yung mga kabutihang ginawa ko before? Hindi n'yo ba naalala 'yun?”
The actress also opened up about the issue surrounding her exit from GMA's weekly variety show Studio 7.
“Wala pong katotohanan 'yun, kasi love ako ng Studio 7,” she answered.
“Lahat, close ko sila, kaya hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling 'yun, and I'm sad kasi naaapektuhan 'yung friendship namin.”

Nevertheless, the actress said she powers through these issues one by one with the help of her faith and her loved ones.
“'Yung mga issue na yan, sinusubukan rin kami kung gaano kami katatag dun sa faith namin kay God and 'yung mga naka-surround sa amin.
“And I'm happy kasi mas nanaig pa rin 'yung pagmamahal ni God para sa akin at mas nananaig pa 'yung good stuff na 'you are loved and you are enough.'”
Additionally, the actress said she's currently focused on her schoolwork thus prompting her to set aside a few projects in the showbiz industry.
She's going to star in the upcoming film Black Lipstick alongside Kyline Alcantara.
