As 2022 comes to an end, Kapuso stars Kate Valdez and Rere Madrid have learned valuable lessons this year.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com at the sidelines of the recently concluded The GAOC Group Royal Ball, the Unica Hija lead actress shared that she has learned not to be complacent in one's capabilities.
“Huwag maging kampante. You have to strive, mag-grind. Huwag kang 'okay na ako.' Marami ka pang puwedeng ma-explore [at] malaman. So you have to step out of the box,” she said.
For her New Year's Resolution, Kate wishes to be stronger and fiercer in 2023.
“Maging fiercer [at] stronger kasi marami pang mas malalaking challenges and opportunities na darating next year,” she shared.
Meanwhile, one of the lessons that Rere learned this 2022 is the importance of setting up a business.
She said, “All about business kasi ngayon dumating tayo sa pandemic, sobrang dami sa atin ang nawalan ng trabaho. For me, siguro napalaking bagay na kapag mag-o-open ka ng investment or business, kailangan hindi lang isa.
"Huwag ka mag-stick sa isa kasi mas maganda 'yung maraming income na napupunta sa'yo. And hindi lang para sa'yo, puwede mo rin maitulong 'yon sa maraming tao.”
Aside from this, the actress-model also revealed her New Year's Resolution.
"Ma-explore pa 'yung mga gusto kong gawin sa buhay," the StarStruck graduate shared.
