'Shining Inheritance' star Kate Valdez dressed up as the female version of Choso from the Japanese anime, 'Jujutsu Kaisen.'
Kate Valdez was among the Sparkle stars who was present at the Sparkle Spell 2023, which was held at Xylo at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City last Sunday (October 22).

The Kapuso actress went to the event as the female version of the half-human, half-cursed spirit Choso from the Japanese anime, Jujutsu Kaisen.
In an Instagram post, Kate shared photos of herself in her Halloween look and captioned it, “Blood Manipulation: Piercing Blood.” The actress' hair and makeup were done by JA Feliciano and Janica Cleto, while her snaps were taken by Joshua Alcantara.
In a separate post, the Shining Inheritance star uploaded a video, where she can be seen in a black robe before she transformed into Choso afterwards.
Prior to the Sparkle Spell 2023, Kate posted snaps of herself in a stunning yet spooky look as she donned an all-black ensemble.
She wrote in her Instagram post, “She's as wicked as your forbidden desire.”
Kate is set to star in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama series Shining Inheritance, which also stars Kyline Alcantara, Michael Sager, Paul Salas, and Ms. Coney Reyes.
