Kathleen Hermosa on Ninong Vic Sotto: “To Tatay Vic who adopted me. It was a help I know God sent.”
Father's Day celebration was bittersweet for actress Kathleen Hermosa since she will be missing the family get-together in the Sotto home.
The eldest sister of former Hay,Bahay! star Kristine Hermosa tied the knot with her fiancé Miko Santos last June 8. According to reports, the latter is a banker from Cebu.
Now Mrs. Santos, Kathleen took to Instagram yesterday to express her appreciation to seasoned comedian Vic, her ninong, who adopted her to their family.
Kathleen stated, “Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!! “Most especially to Tatay Vic who adopted me. It was a help I know God sent. That was during the time I was praying for my God's best! (And I guess a massive hormonal change too!).”
She added, “Indescribable loneliness but for some reason, it did not last very long. The season of waiting was fun and became even more exciting and always looking forward to your family dinners that you host Pau @pauleenlunasotto and outings. It's the family energy that made it all irreplaceable.
“Today, I know there's Father's Day family get together, and I am not there… Pero alam ko I'm there in spirit! I love you so much Tatay Vic! Miko and I are grateful for becoming our Ninong.”
Moreover, Kathleen also greeted her husband Miko a Happy Father's Day, who is a doting dad to his son Guian.
The former actress wrote in the captions, “To Miko, my God's best. You may be a young dad and maybe knows nothing about fatherhood yet you remained a good friend to your son Guian, now our son.
“My heart overflows when you tell me you want to make up for the time lost now. Thank you Lord for the kind of man you have blessed me with. LFG lang tayo!!! With God always!!”
