Malaman ang naging sagot ni Kathryn Bernardo nang tanungin sa media conference ng pelikula nila ni Alden Richards, ang Hello, Love, Again, kung naniniwala siya sa "second chances."

Base kasi sa trailer ng Hello, Love, Again, nagkahiwalay na sina Ethan at Joy, ang mga karakter nila ni Alden Richards, pero may mga pagkakataong naghahabol pa rin si Ethan at nanghihingi ng ikalawang pagkakataon.

"Second chances? We all hope for a second chance, definitely, 'di ba? Lahat tayo, tao lang, we're human beings. Even ako, sa sarili ko, alam ko na magkakamali at magkakamali ako, makaka-disappoint ako ng tao, whether its intentional or unintentional. Given 'yun, e, tao tayo, nagkakamali," sagot ni Kathryn.

"And we all, ako, personally, I would do anything to be given that second chance again, that opportunity to correct my wrongdoings, to rebuild relationships, I guess, and to, maybe, to regain trust. All these things, part 'yun ng forgiveness, siyempre.

"But again, we have to remember, we are all different. Some people can give a second chance like Tisoy, some can give multiple chances, and some won't, and that's okay. And we have to respect that."

Sa huli, nanindigan ni Kathryn na hindi obligasyon ng isang tao ang magpatawad at magbigay ng second chance.

"For me, lagi ko iniisip na forgiveness or second chances isn't an obligation, it's a choice and it's a gift," pagtatapos ni Kathryn.

"So, kapag binigay sa 'yo 'yun ng tao, it's a privilege. Just like any gift, you have to take care of that, and you have to earn that gift."
