What made Kevin Kreider perfect for his role in 'Hello, Love, Again?'

Kathryn Bernardo described the inclusion of Korean-American Hollywood actor Kevin Kreider in the movie 'Hello, Love, Again' as "perfect."

During the press conference on October 17 at the Dolphy Theatre, Kathryn revealed that the movie's director, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, wanted a fresh face for the role of Uno, the other guy in the love triangle between Ethan (Alden Richards) and Joy.

"It's very refreshing to see Uno (Kevin) in the movie because, I think, perfect lang siya talaga doon sa hinihingi sa character ni Uno. Parang Pinoy na rin 'yan," Kathryn said.

"It's a good Asian representation too because he is Korean and we're Filipinos, and we're working on a Filipino film, so, 'di ba, parang it's so interesting to see kung paano mag-work lahat 'to.

"And, I think this is his first Filipino movie as well, and I hope it was a good experience for him."

Kevin also detailed his experience working with Kathryn and Alden in the movie by joining the press conference via video call.

"It's really an honor to work with both Kathryn and Alden because of of their great talent. I mean, this is the first time I've worked with Filipino talents, besides Marco Marvin. It's an honor to be part of this movie," he said.

"They're amazing actors to work with, they made me feel very welcome, and they did everything to make me feel at ease and welcomed while working with them."

Hello, Love, Again continues the story of Ethan and Joy as they reunite in Canada, five years after their separation in Hong Kong. When they met in Canada, it seemed that Joy had already assumed a new name to represent her new "version"-- Marie.

In the first movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, Ethan and Joy met in Hong Kong as struggling overseas Filipino workers who were trying to find their place and their purpose in the country.

While they truly love each other, their romance doesn't have a chance to blossom further when Joy chooses to pursue her dreams in Canada as a nurse.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, Hello, Love, Again will be the first film collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Pictures.
