Kapuso actress Katrina Halili is on a roll. After her memorable stint in Indio, the celebrity mom will once again churn out a feisty kontrabida role in the GMA Afternoon Prime series, Magkano Ba Ang Pag-ibig?

“Margot ‘yung name ko, tapos mapapangasawa ko ‘yung pangatlong anak ni Tita Celia Rodriguez. Siguro sa mga characters, ako ‘yung pinaka ambisyosa,” said Katrina on her newest role.

She also revealed, “Babaguhin ko ‘yung look ko for the role. Sa atake naman, abangan na lang nila. Mas maganda ‘yung ganun para mas exciting.”

When the cameras are not rolling, Katrina makes the most of her time by spending it with her daughter, Katrence.

She shared, “Ang routine ko, mga 7 am ako gumigising. Katabi ko kasi si Katy matulog, tapos ang aga niyang nagigising lagi. Tapos bababa kami, maglalakad sa labas at magpapa araw, tapos manonood siya ng Dora, kakain siya, tapos ako naman, may mga exercise machines ako at nagwowork out ako. Motherhood ang normal kong routine.”

How does she balance work and motherhood? Is it difficult for her?

She answered, “Na-try ko na sa Indio. Mahirap kasi ang layo ng location, tapos call time namin, 6 am, so kailangan naming umalis nang 3 pm. Tapos dadating ako the next morning na. Minsan, hindi ko nakikita si Katy nang buong araw. Siguro ‘yun lang ‘yung mahirap, pero kailangan din namang mag-work.”

Despite this, she still gets to bond with her daughter even when she’s working, thanks to modern technology.

“Dahil uso na ngayon ‘yung internet, nakikita ko siya sa Facetime, tapos nandun din yung daddy niya sa bahay. Para sa akin, importante na nakikita ka niya lagi, kahit hindi kayo laging magkasama,” said Katrina.

She also appreciates her boyfriend Kris Lawrence for being a caring and hands-on dad.

She stated, “Sobrang magaling kasi nandiyan siya lagi, nabibigay niya ‘yung mga kailangan ni Katy at saka marunong siyang mag-alaga ng baby din. Tinatry niyang pag-aralan, tapos lagi niyang nilalaro si Katy.”

When Katy grows up, what does she want Katy to be? What are her dreams for her daughter?

“Ang gusto ko lang ngayon ay matutunan niya ang Word of God. Siyempre, iba ‘pag may attachment siya kay God,” she stated.
