The Stepdaughters actress Katrina Halili posted a heartfelt birthday message for the late director, Maryo J. delos Reyes.
On Instagram, Katrina wrote, “I want you to know that even though you're no longer here, I think about you every single day. There are just so many lessons that you have taught me. I miss your smile, your laughter and your sense of humor.”
“I guess, heaven is just so lucky to have an angel as funny as you, Happy Birthday Direk Maryo.
“Ako lagi halos ang opening, and closing ng birthday mo, hindi tayo umuuwi na hindi umiiyak, palagi mo pinaparamdam sakin na mahal mo ako, ILoveYou.”
Direk Maryo passed away in January 2018 from a heart attack; his last project was Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka's pilot scenes.
