Katrina Halili shared an encouraging update about her 13-year-old daughter, Katie.

The Kapuso actress "is celebrating a new chapter [as] Katie has completed her stem cell therapy and treatments," she said in her recent Instagram post. Stem cell therapy is a medical treatment that uses stem cells to repair, replace, or support damaged tissues in the body and is primarily used to treat or manage certain medical conditions.

Katie was previously diagnosed with mild autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a condition that affects communication and behavior to varying degrees.
