
KATSEYE member Manon has decided to take a temporary break from the spotlight.
According to KATSEYE's official WeVerse channel, the girl group released a statement on Saturday, February 21, addressing Manon's decision.
"After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing," the statement read.
The group also expressed full support for their member, assuring fans that KATSEYE will continue scheduled activities during her break.
"We fully support this decision. Katseye remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right," they added.
They also thanked their fans for their continuous "love," "patience," and "understanding."
Formed in 2023, KATSEYE is composed of Manon, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Yoonchae Jeung, and leader Sophia Laforteza.
The group is known for their songs "Gabriela," "Gnarly," "Gameboy," "Touch," and "Debut."
