It's already been a year since global girl group KATSEYE visited the Philippines, and the longing from Pinoy fans only continues to grow.

In an interview with Audacy Music, the six-member group looked back on their journey from debut to their rise to international fame.

One highlight of their conversation was their unforgettable visit to the Philippines for their debut showcase at Market! Market!

KATSEYE recalled how they will never forget the explosive Filipino energy and the overwhelming love they received.

"I didn't know they were such passionate people and they remind me of my own culture too,” Daniela Avazini shared.

The singer remembered how shocked they were to see the venue packed beyond expectations along with very loud cheers.

“I think it was four, five levels in that mall, and every single level was filled up,” Daniela said. “Turned into a whole freaking stadium, which was insane.”

Sophia Laforteza added, “It was like screeching loud. All the video footage, the speakers were like popping.”

Still longing for that warmth, KATSEYE expressed how excited they are to reunite with their Filipino fans in the future.

“I can't wait to go back to the Philippines,” Lara Raj said.

Aside from their debut showcase, the group also surprised fans with guest appearances on local shows, including noontime program It's Showtime.

They also visited Japan and South Korea as part of their mini Asia tour.

Meanwhile, KATSEYE continues to soar this year, earning major nominations at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. They were included in the categories Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their global hit “Gabriela.”

Debuted in 2024, KATSEYE consists of six members: Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae.

They are known for their chart-topping songs such as “Debut,” “Touch,” “Gnarly,” and "Gameboy."
