Kazel Kinouchi is set to impress everyone with her performance as Betsy on 'My Father's Wife.'

Sparkle actress Kazel Kinouchi is ready to make her mark on another stellar GMA Drama via the upcoming series My Father's Wife starring Gabby Concepcion and Kylie Padilla, together with Jak Roberto.

Kazel will portray the role of Betsy in the afternoon soap directed by Aya Topacio.

During the GMA Afternoon Prime Grand Media Day on Monday, June 16, Kazel had a chance to talk with the members of the press to share her experience in doing this big project with Gabby Concepcion.

“He is very light, very easy to work with and he wouldn't make you feel like, 'Oh! I'm Gabby Concepcion!' Kazel noted.

She continued, “He's very generous. Bagets, bagets pa kasi si Kuya Gabby. Very supportive also. I'm very happy to work with him also, siyempre very honored, kasi matagal ng artista si Kuya Gabby."

When asked how she and Kylie handled their intense scenes for My Father's Wife, Kazel admitted she felt some hesitation.

The actress explained, “Meron, hindi naman mawawala 'yun.”

“Sabi nga ni Direk, nung una meron kaming scene na parang hindi dumampi [yung sampal]. May sakitan, pero siyempre ayoko saktan si Kylie. Parang [sabi ni Direk], 'sige pa! more pa!'”

Kylie interjected saying, “ 'Pag sinabi naman ni Direk na more pa, ibibigay naman namin. Wala namang personalan 'yun, kasi nagkaroon na kami ng foundation outside of the character, empathy to each other.”

Catch the world premiere of My Father's Wife this coming June 23, after It's Showtime.
