Versatile TV actress Kazel Kinouchi talks about the recovery of her Lola Pacita after getting a complex hip replacement procedure.
My Father's Wife actress Kazel Kinouchi expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her family after her 101-year-old grandmother underwent a “complex” procedure in the hospital.
The Sparkle actress took to Instagram to give a health update about her Lola Pacita, who recently needed a hip replacement procedure.
According to Mayo Clinic, hip replacement procedure or hip arthroplasty is a surgery to remove damaged sections of the hip joint and replace them. Replacement parts are usually made of metal, ceramic, and hard plastic.
“This season has been heavy but also eye-opening,” Kazel said on Instagram Story.
She added, “Thank you to those who prayed for my lola, helped financially, sent food, visited her and genuinely checked on us. You Know who you are, and I will remember each and every one of you.”
“For those who don't know yet, my 101 year-old lola had a hip replacement ( a complex one), and she's now on her way to recovery! What a woman, and what a mazing God we have!!”
In an interview with 24 Oras in June 2025, Kazel said that her grandmother played a pivotal part in her life growing up.
“I want her to live longer and sana napi-feel lang niya how loved she is.”
“'Yung message ko lang, siyempre I want to say thank you. Ayun, I love her and I am who I am today because of her.”
