The actress and host said that she has been constantly praying not only for the people who lost their homes but also for the safety of the rescue teams.

“Though we're 'resilient' - I pray for all the families and people who have lost their homes and struggled to stay warm and safe. I pray for the safety and efficiency of rescue teams and quick rehabilitation for our communities.”

KC encouraged her followers to take care of each other. She also stated that this typhoon is a reminder to take care of our planet.

“This is the last thing we need in the middle of a pandemic. ⚡️ And the most important thing is to take care of each other in more ways than one, in whatever capacity we can."

She continued, “The main culprit of these typhoons are the warming of our oceans. Remember when we hear about protecting the Earth? This is it. This is up to us. Take care everyone.🦋”
