Actress KC Concepcion honors her late lola and “best friend” Elaine Cuneta, “I will always cherish you.”
KC Concepcion honored her late maternal grandmother Elaine Cuneta by sharing a photo of them together on Instagram, Thursday, November 5.

She wrote, “I remember you everyday, not just on this day. I love you more than words can ever say.
“You were my best friend. My confidant. My light. In many ways you are alive with me and will always be the love of my life.
“This was the day you waved goodbye to me... With a smile on your face. I will always cherish that. I will always cherish you. I love you, Mita.”
Elaine Cuneta, mother of veteran singer-actress Sharon Cuneta, passed away at the age of 79 in 2014.
Also on November 5, KC penned a sweet birthday message for her father Gabby Concepcion.
“Happy happy birthday to my father full of heart and passion, who watches out for me and keeps me alert and active like a big brother would.
“You've always believed in me, thank you for always holding my hand through things when I need to learn something new,” she said.
KC also thanked her father for always reminding her to enjoy the simplest joys in life.
“You always keep me down to earth, taking me outdoors - barefoot whenever possible - just enjoying the simplest joys in life!
“I love you, to the handsomest of them all! Papa happy birthday!” she shared.
Kc is currently in Tagaytay, away from the hustle and bustle of Manila.
