In KC Concepcion’s Instagram post, she shared one of her fondest memories with The King of Philippine Movies Fernando Poe, Jr., who happens to be her godfather.

Kapuso primetime star Lovi Poe had a chance encounter with Sharon Cuneta’s daughter, KC Concepcion, in the rustic paradise of Amanpulo, Palawan this week.

In KC’s Instagram post, she shared one of her fondest memories with The King of Philippine Movies Fernando Poe, Jr., who happens to be her godfather.

She posted, “So her dad, Ninong FPJ, was my godfather who taught me how to play Philippine Poker (Tong-its!) when I was just a child. Lovely sharing paradise with this one! @lovipoe”

Lovi replied to KC’s post and thanked her for the sweet story about her dad.

 

 

FPJ died on December 14, 2004 at age 65 after suffering a stroke. In that same year, he lost his presidential bid against incumbent President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
