KC Concepcion reveals what she did when confronted by an unaccommodating salesperson

KC Concepcion shared her luxury bag shopping experience at one of her favorite brands.

KC Concepcion admitted in the second part of her bag collection vlog that some pieces that she collected have interesting stories behind them.

According to KC, unlike other purses which were bought in Paris, she got YSL or Yves Saint Laurent purses in Los Angeles. There she encountered an unaccommodating salesperson who seemingly implied that KC can't purchase the items that the store is selling.

KC said that when she visited the store the salesperson downright told her that their purses are marked with a high price tag.

She said, “The sale person looked at me and said oh you're looking for YSL purses. YSL purses are very expensive.

“Sabi ko yes, I would just like to see them. I want to see what you have; I want to see what's in store.”

The salesperson tried to shut her down and said, “Yes, but they're very expensive.”

KC continued, “Sabi ko I'm not asking if they're expensive or not expensive I am asking to see the designs. [He said,] Okay, which one do you want to see, suede or leather?

KC replied to him, “Both, I just want to see what you have.”

The actress and host said that he showed the small version of the purses and declared that these pieces are of lesser value.

“Ipinakita niya sa akin 'yung suede tapos ipinakita niya 'yung parang maliit na version. Sabi niya that's less expensive than that.”

KC jested in the video that she can't believe that the person who's supposed to assist her kept on telling her that the purses are expensive.

“Obsessed siya girl! Obsessed siya sa kung magkano hindi ko pa nga itinatanong kung magkano. Hindi ko pa nga alam kung gusto ko! Tapos sasabihin mo na sa akin na mahal.”

In the video, she continued her story on how she responded when he kept on declaring the price of the bags.

“Tiningnan ko lang siya, sabi ko okay. I'm not asking for the price yet 'cause I have to decide if I like it and what it makes me feel.”

“Tapos tiningnan niya ako, sabi niya, what it makes you feel? Sabi niya don't you have to know about the price? Sabi ko I'm not asking for the price, I'm asking to see what designs you have. So they showed me the mini version of this and the mini version of this and I liked both in the larger version, so I asked for it. And they answered me by saying oh it's too expensive.”

In the end, KC revealed that she did not buy anything from that store because the salesperson will be getting a commission from her purchase.

She continued by admitting that it wasn't the right customer service that she was expecting. She said she also knew about stories from other luxury brands where customers are treated poorly.

“I just didn't think it was right. I didn't think it was proper. You hear about these stories all the time and you hear about customers getting those treatments. I honestly don't even know what the issue was; he was obsessed about how much things cost before I can even decide if I like the design. I think as a buyer, I am very emotional. I still want to connect to the piece before I buy it and ask for the price. If I like it so much, I would've bought it for whatever price which I did.”

KC gave advice to those who are going to experience the same thing when shopping.

“Anyway, the commission went to someone else. My piece of advice for you is if you encounter situations like that; never let that person get the commission!”

She added, “Ask for someone else, walk away, have someone else earn from your purchase. Or just go to another store and buy from them and make sure that the salesperson is super nice and genuinely kind to you.”
