The social media accounts of KC Concepcion's jewelry brand Avec Moi have been compromised.
Actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion gave an urgent update about her jewelry brand Avec Moi.
On July 30, KC warned her followers that she and her team lost access to the Instagram account of Avec Moi. She also advised against interacting or responding to any messages from the account for now.
"Hi everyone! This is to alert you that our @avecmoijewelry account has been compromised recently. Please disregard any communication from the account for now, and for all your orders and inquiries, kindly hold until further notice! Thank you…" KC wrote on her personal Instagram account.
"Dear followers,
"We regret to inform you that our Instagram account (@avecmoijewelry) has been compromised yesterday.
"We are working diligently to resolve the issue and regain access.
"Please DO NOT entertain any messages, posts or requests from our account until further notice. Your safety and privacy are out top priority and we appreciate your understanding," the post read.
The intention of the hacker remains unclear and as of now, the Instagram account of Avec Moi does not reflect any suspicious posts.
However, there has been an uptick in fraudulent messages pretending to be celebrities or organizations and soliciting donations in the wake of Super Typhoon Carina.
Among those who experienced this are Kapuso stars Kyline Alcantara and Max Collins, talent manager Arnold Vegafria, and the Miss World Philippines organization.
