Solenn says she stays sexy by eating right and exercising. Sounds simple, right?

If there’s one word that would best describe Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff, it would be HOT. Her toned and sexy physique is the envy of many.
How does she keep herself fit?
According to Solenn, she maintains her figure by exercising, cleansing and watching what she always eats.
"I exercise at least five times a week. I don't eat carbs, I cleanse a lot, a lot of juicing,” she says.
She reveals that she’s been a vegan for four years and that she quit rice five years ago. “I have a spoonful if I really have a craving,” she says.
She plans to continue her healthy life style next year.
“Next year, more discipline ako. Baka walang cheat days,” she says. "Seven times a week work out kahit pagod. I will find 30 minutes sa isang day. “
We’ve seen how strong she is in
Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown where she played a castaway and made it to the finals.
Solenn shares that it isn’t hard for her to stay away from unhealthy food -- a taste of crispy pata is only once a year.
"When you've cleansed your body, even though good 'yong food, after eating it, you feel na mabigat sa katawan. You don't feel good. You feel sloppy,” she states.
Solenn’s fitness routine consists of running, yoga, and plyo or plyometrics.
Plyometrics exercise, according to Merriam-Webster.com, involves repeated rapid stretching and contracting of muscles (as by jumping and rebounding) to increase muscle power.
"Sometimes, I'll do ten kilometers run in the morning. Then, I'll do some ab work out in the house. Do yoga for an hour and a half or plyo for two to three hours. Alternate with plyo, yoga and running,” Solenn says.
As for skincare, she reveals: “I'm not the type who goes to facial and derma often. I just use soap for my entire body, face and toes. Wala akong regimen like seven steps. I'm more of a guy in that sense, hindi ako maalaga sa katawan.”
She keeps it simple and natural by eating right and exercising.
"If you eat right and healthy, your pores will open up. If you exercise, you'll sweat enough so your pores will open up.”
As a host of
Taste Buddies, she says she visits 10 restaurants a day but that doesn’t mean she eats everything offered her way. “Kahit tikim-tikim lang, at the end of the day sobrang busog dahil sa iba't ibang flavor,” she says.
The following day, she says she cleanses by drinking natural juices. “Sanay na ako sa clean food. 'Pag hindi healthy busog ako kaagad, parang nire-reject ng katawan ko.”
