Inamin ni Kelley Day na galit ang una niyang naramdamang nang nalamang nadadawit ang pangalan niya sa isyu ng diumano'y hiwalayan nina Tom Rodriguez at Carla Abellana.

Sinabi ito ni Kelley nang ma-hot seat siya nina Boobay at Pepita Curtis para sa Kalurks episode ng YouLol.

Tanong ni Boobay kay Kelley, "To set the record straight, nagkaroon ba talaga kayo ng relasyon ni Tom?"

Madiin na sagot ni Kelley, "Never."

Dagdag naman ni Pepita, "Paano mo nalamanng iniintriga ka ng mga tao na ikaw ang dahilan ng breakup nila? At ano ang naging reaksyon mo?"

Binalikan ni Kelley ang kung paano sila naging magkatrabaho ni Tom noong 2021 para sa isang Kapuso drama, "We just worked in The World Between Us. We taped from May to October.

"Tom is super mabait, but I wasn't that close to him, compared to my other co-actors who became really close to him. I didn't have many scenes with him. I didn't know where that [rumor] came from."

Matatandaan na madaling naiugnay ng mga tao ang pangalan ni Kelley dahil sa blind item ng showbiz reporter na si Cristy Fermin.

Nagulat na lang daw si Kelley ng marami ng naglabasan na posts sa social media na itinuturo siyang "the other woman" sa relasyong Tom at Carla.

Aniya, "You know what, I can't actually blame the people for blaming me kasi the way Cristy Fermin was doing her blind item, I would say that was definitely about me. There's no other person in showbiz who would fit her description."

Dagdag pa niya, "I wanted to directly ask Cristy because she was saying she had five sources that confirmed I was the third wheel or something. I don't know if she's to blame or her sources are to blame, or sino ang nag-start ng rumor, but it really has nothing to do with me.

"I had this confirmed through reliable sources close to Tom and Carla, who confirmed it has nothing to do with me and it's all speculation. 'Yun talaga ang totoo."

Nabanggit din ni Kelley na personal siyang pinadalhan ng mensahe ni Tom matapos kumalat ang third party issues para magpaliwanag.

"Actually, Tom messaged me and clarified that it had nothing to do with me," sabi ni Kelley

Samantala, aminado si Kelley na nakatanggap siya ng pamba-bash dahil sa isyu, ngunit ipinagkibit-balikat na lamang niya ang mga ito.

Kuwento niya, "Noong first po, before I saw the video of Cristy, I was a bit angry with the comments I was getting kasi I thought it was coming from nowhere. Pero noong nakita ko yung video, I understand naman why people were linking me.

"I wouldn't say that it is right to bash anyone online. I don't believe in hate on social media. But I guess I can give an understanding to the people who were assuming that it was me."

Ipinaliwanag din niya ang pagsasalita ng kanyang ina tungkol sa isyu, "Kasi, after two days, my mom called me and she asked me if I was pregnant because she saw everything online. She was actually, like, 'I will support you. You don't have to hide it.' I was, like, 'Ma, I'm not pregnant.' I talked to her about it.

"Kasi, before I told her not to attend to the bashers, just to let it go. But she really wanted to speak up after talking to me to defend me. Siyempre, bilang mother you want to be there with your daughter. So, I allowed her to do what she felt she wanted to do to protect me."

Samantala, tanungin tungkol sa kanyang present relationship status, aminado si Kelley na may nagpapasaya sa kanya sa ngayon.

"I would say to be honest, I do have some sort of love life--it's chill, it's good vibes. It's not showbiz-related."
