What has it been like for longtime Kapamilya actor Ketchup Eusebio to work with Kapuso stars and staff in The Master Cutter?
Versatile actor Ketchup Eusebio is relishing the opportunity that he can now work in an environment where network rivalry doesn't exist with GMA Network and ABS-CBN.
Ketchup Eusebio has done several projects as a Kapamilya, but since 2025, he bagged a role in the hit GMA Prime series Lolong starring Kapuso Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid.
This time around, Ketchup is part of the star-studded cast of The Master Cutter, playing the role of Emerson.
GMANetwork.com asked him personally what the experience has been like for him to render work for a former "rival" network.
“I'm always curious kung ano ang system dun sa GMA and I had bunch of friends, who were lucky enough to be part of the shows here in GMA na who also came from the other station.
“Sobrang excited ako, since I worked with Ruru [Madrid] sa Lolong last year that came out very successful also. And right now, more than grateful na mainclude ulit at mabigyan ulit ng chance para makapagkuwento dito sa mga Kapuso natin na audiences,” The Master Cutter actor said.
Being part of this action-part series with Dingdong Dantes as their lead star has been memorable for Ketchup Eusebio.
Ketchup is looking forward to shooting in the Baclaran area for this soap. He shared, “Maraming memorable moments, kasi 'pag 'yung set namin sa community ah, ang daming characters!
“So, ang daming artista. Ang saya ng standby area and 'yung humor din ni Direk Dom [Dominic Zapata] 'yun 'yung pinaka-template nung lahat. So, everyone is just parang nabibigyan ng chance para makapag-adlib. Makapag-shine.”
In addition, Ketchup has only kind words for their director Dominic Zapata, whom he described as a "great collaborator."
“So, I'm very happy na binibigyan ako ng confidence ni Direk Dom, when it comes dun sa mga punchlines.
“Kasi, 'yun 'yung mga masarap na kasama sa work e, kapag nagiging organic pagdating sa set na mismo aside from dun sa nakalagay sa script. So, abangan n'yo marami kaming antics na ginawa dun.”
