Khalil Ramos has nothing but praises to his Olsen's Day co-star Romnick Sarmenta, even saying that he can work with his "Kuya Nick" all his life.

After the press preview of Liwanag Sa Dilim where he portrays the lead character Elesi, Khalil talked about Olsen Day, which is now showing in Gateway Cineplex 2 as part of Puregold CinePanalo 2025.

"Excited kasi first movie ko rin na ipapalabas na kasama si Kuya Nick, si Kuya Romnick Sarmenta na isa sa talagang hinahangaan kong artista. Grabe 'yun! One of my favorite actors to ever work with, grabe 'yun!" Khalil said to GMANetwork.com.

"'Yung wisdom niya, 'yung binibigay niya sa mga eksena, walang katulad. As in, ah, grabe. Kung bibigyan ako ng chance na puro siya na lang 'yung katrabaho ko, why not? The best, Kuya Nick."

Khalil added that he is honored to portray the titular character in Olsen's Day, especially the story and movie is close to the director, JP Habac's, heart.

"Excited ako na makita at mapanood na rin kasi, actually, very personal 'yung movie kay Direk JP [Habac], and to be able to be part of a film that is that personal to the writer and to the director, siyempre, that's a lot of responsibility to take in," Khalil said to GMANetwork.com.

"I'm very honored na ako 'yung pinili, like if you imagine sino magsusulat ng talambuhay mo, o magpo-portray ng talambuhay mo, 'di ba?"

Olsen's Day is now showing at Gateway Cineplex 18 until March 25 as part of Puregold Cinepanalo 2025. Regular tickets are priced at PhP 250, while discounted tickets for students, PWDs, senior citizens, Tindahan ni Aling Puring, and Perks Card members are available for PhP 200.
