Khalil Ramos's first live TV appearance as a Kapuso was on morning talk show 'Unang Hirit!'
New Kapuso Khalil Ramos did his first live TV appearance as a Kapuso on Unang Hirit earlier today, October 15.
Speaking to the show's hosts Suzi Abrera and Lyn Ching, the singer-actor, who recently inked an exclusive contract with GMA Artist Center, shared that he's still on cloud nine, feeling the overwhelming amount of support the network, his family, friends, and girlfriend Kapuso Millennial It Girl Gabbi Garcia.
“They've been along with me on this big momentous event in my life and I can't thank them enough. I've been feeling the love and kindness from them talaga. Overwhelming, sobrang nakakataba ng puso.
“I'm just really happy and excited and euphoric. I'm on cloud nine even until now,” he said.
Khalil didn't also forget to thank Gabbi for her guidance and support throughout the whole process of his transfer to GMA.
“During the launch week lalo na nu'ng Tuesday, mas kinakabahan pa siya kaysa sa akin. Kasi ako medyo nawala na 'yung kaba ko du'n sa mismong araw. Pero siya, mine-make sure niya na everything's on point and 100%.
“Tuwang-tuwa siya siyempre. She was with me during this whole [time]. She guided me talaga and helped me throughout the whole process of entering the Kapuso network.
“She was the ever supportive partner and she's really the best,” he said.
Meanwhile, Khalil gave the viewers of the morning show a wonderful performance of Swedish house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia's hit “Don't You Worry Child.”
