Kiana Valenciano Falling Out single

Here's what Kiana V has to say about her new single 'Falling Out.'

Filipina R&B artist Kiana V is back with another single, and it's more than just a track.

In an online interview with the Philippine media, Kiana shared how her newest single, “Falling Out,” tells the power of letting go of the past. It is just one of the many tracks in line with Kiana V's upcoming album.

According to Kiana, “We went back and forth with which song should come out first, but ultimately, “Falling Out” just felt like a great way to start the whole story. Like, there's this girl [and] she seems to have something really good brewing, but she's haunted by her past and what she's going to do with that.”

Kiana said it is important for everyone to realize their worth and know when to let go when things blur the concept of self-love.

“I think that the “self,” obviously, if you don't like yourself, then that's bad news, because you're stuck with yourself for the rest of your life, and if you don't invest in your relationship with “you,” everything is going to be affected,” said Kiana. “That's just a little nudge. Don't bleed yourself dry for anyone who isn't willing to do the same for you, because then you're left on the road alone, and if you haven't burned bridges by then, you're still going to rely on the help of others.”

In the same interview, Kiana told the story about the inspiration behind her upcoming album that homes “Falling Out.”

“I was very much inspired by the women of '90s television -- how different they are from women today. Today, if you're treated poorly, we respect our boundaries and we're out. But the women in '90s movies and television, they kind of just stay a little hopeless. Like the hopeless romantic side of it,” Kiana explained.

“Falling Out” by Kiana V is now available on various streaming platforms.
