Kim Chiu turned a year older as she celebrated her 36th birthday on Sunday (April 19).

In one of her posts on Instagram, the It's Showtime host shared a video of herself waking up from her sleep and having a relaxing time in the balcony with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background.

"So this is (1+2+3) ² feels like," she wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag #giftoflife.

The award-winning actress also uploaded snaps from her stunning outdoor birthday photoshoot, where she looked like a dreamy cowgirl. Along with these, Kim penned a thoughtful message about growth.

"They say those born in the Year of the Horse are meant to run--not away, but towards their purpose," she wrote.

Kim then shared that this year, she chooses "courage over fear, growth over comfort, and gratitude over everything."

"Every step, every stumble, every win--part of my story. And I'm just getting started. Cheers to another year of becoming. Cheers to √1296," she added.

Meanwhile on Instagram story, Kim expressed her gratitude to everyone who greeted her and sent her well wishes on her special day.

"Woke up feeling extra loved today. Thank you for all your beautiful messages and warm wishes. I may not be able to reply to everyone, but please know I've read them and felt all the love. You made my day so special and I appreciate you all more than words can say. THANK YOU," she said.
