Watch for Kim de Leon and Lia Salvador's roles in the upcoming fantasy-action series 'Agimat ng Agila Season 2.'
StarStruck Season 7 Ultimate Male Survivor Kim de Leon and Kapuso actress Lia Salvador are set to take on roles for the upcoming Agimat ng Agila Season 2.
The two young stars are appearing alongside the show's cast including Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Elizabeth Oropesa, Gardo Versoza, Betong Sumaya, Sanya Lopez, and Rabiya Mateo.
During an online press conference for the show, Kim shared how he feels after landing his first regular role in a GMA drama.
"I'm very happy sa role ko, 'yung inexpect na mabibigyan ako ng ganitong role," Kim said.
He continued, "I'll do my best to play my role as Jumong. Nakikitira sa bahay nina Major Gabriel at Nanay Berta. Dito umiikot 'yung storya ko...at sa misteryo ng agimat."
Meanwhile, budding young actress Lia Salvador is also taking on a regular role for Agimat ng Agila Season 2.
Lia will be playing the role of Sharmaine, Kim de Leon's close friend and love interest.
She said during the virtual mediacon, "Sobrang overwhelming for me dahil hindi ko po akalain na magiging part ako ng Agimat ng Agila. Sobrang thankful ako na nagtiwala ang GMA sa akin.”
"Thankful din ako sa mga kasama ko, lagi nila akong inaalalayan,” she continued. "I will be playing Sharmaine, siya po 'yung magiging kasama lagi at makaka-witness sa mga gagawin niJumong sa buhay niya."
Agimat ng Agila Season 2 will have its premiere on January 29, and will be airing every Saturday 7:15 p.m.
