Kim Kardashian

Congratulations, Kim Kardashian!

American media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school after six years of hard work.

Kim shared the delightful news with fans on Instagram, showing how she celebrated her graduation with a small gathering of family and close friends.

Among those present were her sister Khloé Kardashian and her children Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Also in attendance was her longtime friend and public figure Van Jones, who delivered a heartfelt speech about Kim's dedication to criminal justice reform.

“I'm trying not to get emotional,” Van began, praising Kim's early work in the field. “Six years, seven years ago, when you were working on criminal justice, you were not embraced by anybody.”

He then recalled how Kim chose to advocate for individuals he described as having been abandoned by society, and at times, their own families.

“The advocates are always last in line on the other, more popular causes," he explained. "It's a lonely fight."

Kim entered a four-year apprenticeship program at a San Francisco-based law firm under California's unique program.

Her mentor, Attorney Jessica Jackson, also delivered a powerful speech about Kim's grit and perseverance.

“It's an absolute honor to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we've ever seen,” she said. “Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case log books to read.”

Jessica emphasized that Kim devoted 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year, for six straight years to study law all while juggling other responsibilities.

“That's time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others,” Jessica added.

The TV star has previously lobbied for criminal justice reform, and for clemency in individual cases.

Kim's legal passion also pays homage to her late father, Robert Kardashian, a respected attorney who was part of the legal team that defended O.J. Simpson during the highly publicized '90s murder trial.
