The Childe, the much-awaited debut film of South Korean star Kim Seon-Ho, has finally arrived at Philippine cinemas nationwide.
The story of the action-drama movie centers on the life of a Korean-Filipino amateur boxer, brought to life by Kang Tae-ju, who travels to South Korea in search of his estranged father.
On the journey, he crosses paths with the character of Kim Seon-Ho, who is a mysterious assassin.
But aside from his first big screen appearance, the Start-Up and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star has another surprise awaiting his Filipino fans and viewers.
In a video shared by CreaZion Studios on their social media pages, a charming Kim Seon-Ho dressed in a suit spoke a line in Filipino.
“Ngumiti ka naman d'yan, ako'ng bahala sa'yo,” the actor said in the snippet posted.
Fans couldn't help but be more excited to watch the movie after seeing the scene.
They expressed their kilig and even confessed to replaying the Filipino-speaking scene multiple times.
The Childe is officially distributed in the Philippines by CreaZion Studios and Glimmer Productions.
