Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun is set to star in an upcoming drama series about what goes on behind the scenes of a variety show.

Producer will be his first drama series after he wrapped up My Love from the Star February last year. He will be playing a rookie producer who ventures into the media industry looking for love.

My Love from the Star writer Park Ji Eun will be penning the story.

His costars include Cha Tae Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin who will be playing veteran producers. Joining them is IU who will be playing a popular idol star.

The four leads have all met late last March for an initial script reading and filming has began this April.

In the meantime, catch Kim Soo Hyun in Park Ji Eun's quirky love story, My Love from the Star, Monday to Friday, before 24 Oras.
