Kiray Celis and husband Stephan Estopia shared the exciting news that their baby is a boy.
Kiray Celis shared a video on Instagram for her followers, featuring highlights from the intimate gender reveal party she held with her husband, Stephan Estopia, which was attended by their families and a few friends.
“Pink or blue, we can't wait to meet you!!!” Kiray wrote in the caption of her post.
In the video, the couple expressed their immense anticipation of the gender reveal and the arrival of their child.
The actress-comedienne noted that despite having different initial preferences for the baby's gender, they remained equally thrilled about the pregnancy.
She emphasized that their primary concern was the child's well-being, stating that a healthy, “bouncing” baby was all they could ask for.
“Excited kami sa gender reveal today,” Kiray said.
“We're very, very excited. We're very happy. Team girl ako, team boy siya [Stephan]; pero as long as healthy ka, as long as bouncing baby ka, kahit ano ka pa man, tanggap ka namin,” she added.
In the same video shared by Kiray, several moments from the gender reveal event were captured, building up to the exact second Kiray and Stephan revealed the big news. Surrounded by loved ones, the couple announced they are expecting a baby boy as a burst of blue smoke filled the air behind the stage.
Following the reveal, the couple could not contain their joy upon learning they are expecting a son, actively expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming arrival of their baby boy.
“Sobrang saya ko kasi lalaki ang magiging anak natin,” Stephan said.
“Happy rin ako na lalaki siya. [I'm] excited to meet you, and we can't wait to meet you,” Kiray expressed.
The couple first announced they were expecting their first child last April through an emotional video.
The video captured Kiray alone in a bathroom in her pajamas as she took a pregnancy test, breaking down in tears upon seeing the positive result.
In the caption, she expressed her gratitude, writing, “Ikaw ang pinakamatamis na sagot sa lahat ng panalangin namin @stephan.estopia.”
