Kiray Celis bagged an international acting award anew.
Kiray Celis clinched another acting accolade abroad as she was recently awarded at the Wu Wei Taipei International Film Festival.
The Sparkle actress-comedian shared her latest achievement on Instagram, posting photos of her in her black ensemble with her trophy.
Kiray took home the Breakthrough Performance Award at the international film festival for her performance in the movie Malditas in Maldives.
In her caption, Kiray mused on how she did not expect to win another international award after winning her first at the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival for the same role in May.
"Nung nanalo ako sa [J]apan ng first international award ko, sobrang thankful na ko! Ni hindi na pumasok sa isip ko na sana may kasunod pa," she said.
Kiray also expressed her happiness and gratitude to their team as the film was also hailed Best Picture at the festival.
"Tapos nanalo pa ng "Best picture" yung movie namin. Huhu! Maraming maraming salamat, Ndm studios family. Direk @njeldemesa, ms jan at sa lahat. Mahal na mahal ko kayo!" she continued.
Malditas in Maldives is directed by Njel de Mesa and stars Kiray, Arci Muñoz, and Janelle Tee.
