Model Kirk Bondad looks back on his performance and journey in the Mister World 2024 pageant.
Now the dust has settled and a new Mister World has been crowned, Philippine representative Kirk Bondad reflected on his journey competing in the prestigious pageant.
Kirk finished strong in the pageant placing in the top 20 with Mister Puerto Rico Daniel Mejia eventually bagging the title.
In his Instagram post after the competition, Kirk admitted that his top 20 finish is not the one he was aiming for, but he knows that he gave it all, joining Mister World this year.
“Well, this didn't go as planned…
“My time here in Vietnam has been an indescribable ride. My placement wasn't what I aimed for, and honestly, I'm still not sure where things went off track. Right now, I feel empty on all ends. But I know I gave it my all, and that's what matters.
“Mister World seeks out the 'Most Desirable Man' which goes beyond looking just for physical appearance but also personality and skills. If I were to determine who fits that mold best, I'd be called a judge. “
The Filipino-German hottie also expressed his gratitude to his incredible support group for cheering him and believing what he can do.
Kirk continued, “To my family, friends, and supporters everywhere--thank you for believing in me and cheering me on. Your support gave me the strength to push through my limits.
“Representing the Philippines at Mister World has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I will always treasure the memories I've made with my brothers here in beautiful Vietnam.
“Life has unique ways of guiding us to places we're meant to be, so, chest high, back straight--life goes on.”

Mister World 2024 first runner-up Pham Tuan Ngoc commented on Kirk's IG post and said that he looks forward to working with him in the future.
“Love you broo. Always welcome my roommate to Vietnam. And we will have so many big projects together in the future. I saw your journey and I know you gave your all. Dedication, hard work and more. The thing is, we shared so many things together, that's gonna be what we will carry along in our lifelong journey.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Supranational 2024 second runner-up Brandon Espiritu told Kirk that he thinks that he is still a winner.
“We are all very very proud of you brother. Winning comes in so many different forms. You are definitely a winner in my eyes! Love you!”
The Philippines almost clinched the Mister World title back in 2012, when Andrew Wolff placed first runner-up losing to Mister Colombia Francisco Javier Escobar Parra.
