Singer Kitchie Nadal shares a glimpse of her home in Spain.
While it has already been five years since Kitchie Nadal has married her boyfriend Carlos Lopéz in Tagaytay, it is only now that the OPM singer has opened the doors to her new life in Spain.
In her recent vlog, the “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” singer gave fans a tour of her apartment in Madrid, Spain, where she, her husband, and their son Keon are currently residing.
The 16-minute video gave fans a glimpse of their charming apartment and Kitchie's life as a mom and as a musician in the European country.
In her living room stands a Christmas tree adorned with beautiful ornaments filled with photographs of their loved ones abroad.
Kitchie said, “Ito ang aming salon or living room ng aming bahay. Itong Christmas tree kaka-set up lang namin and nilagyan namin ng photos ng families namin abroad -- 'yung mga hindi namin masyadong nakikita [nowadays]. From the US, the Philippines, and Australia.”
Moving to the dining room, the singer showcases a view of her neighborhood's swimming and play area, which is frequently used in the summer by kids and families.
She adds, “Itong neighborhood namin, tahimik lang. Tapos minsan nakakanood kami ng live show kasi 'yung kapitbahay namin musicians din. So, ang galing.”
Her home is also filled with knick-knacks from around the world, courtesy of her and her husband's many travels as an NGO worker and journalist, including countries like Colombia and Micronesia.
Moving to the second floor, Kitchie toured the viewers to her husband's home office, which also serves as their at-home gym, laundry area, and terrace.
“Ang plan namin is bumili pa ng sofa na pang-terrace o pang-outdoor. Malamig ngayon pero ang sarap dito tuwing summer,” she adds.
“Kung mapapansin n'yo, wala kaming masyadong gamit ni Carlos kasi pareho kaming minimalist. Kailangan lang namin ng konting gamit sa bahay. Hindi kami kaagad bumibili kasi kailangan muna naming isipin kung ito ba kailangan namin sa bahay or hindi kasi ayaw namin mag-accumulate 'yung mga gamit. Kaya pati 'yung gamit namin sa bahay ingat na ingat kami.
“Pareho din kami nagtatrabaho sa bahay kaya pag-cluttered parehas kaming hindi maka-work at mag-concentrate. So it's important for us to have space and to be able to organize our area easily. Lalo na at mayroon kaming three-year-old so madaling kumalat 'yung bahay.”
Afterward, she went out for a drive in her neighborhood and went to the local grocery store, where she bought a few items for her family.
She ended her tour by performing “O Holy Night” with her friend Jackie.
