Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition has truly transformed the lives of its housemates.

Beyond the challenges they faced, the show opened doors to opportunities and gave the celebrity housemates unforgettable milestones.

One of the most talked-about breakthroughs came from Nation's Mowm Klarisse De Guzman, who bravely came out as bisexual inside the PBB house. She also revealed her long-time relationship with partner Christrina Rey, ending four years of hiding, quietly loving behind the scenes.

In a recent vlog with Vice Ganda, the couple shared more about their journey and how difficult it was to keep their love a secret.

"Nakakapagod na rin," Klarisse admitted.

Vice chimed in, "Tsaka di mo na rin ma-e-enjoy 'di ba? 'Di n'yo ma-e-njoy 'yung magkasama kayo pero 'di kayo maka-arte ng totoo. 'Di kayo makapag hawakan ng mga kamay, magdikit na dikit, tutok na tutok sa isa't- isa kasi [malalaman]."

Even from the start, Christrina felt scared to start a relationship with Klarisse. She knew how emotionally exhausting it was to be kept in the dark.

"Kasi takot ako na 'Kaya ko po ba na itatago na naman ako?' parang sobrang hirap," Christrina confessed. "Ayoko pong papalit-palit ganyan. So looking ako sa parang 'Kaya ba ako panindigan?'"

That emotional toll on her partner was one of the reasons why Klarisse finally decided to join PBB and break free from hiding.

"Kaya feeling ko po na sobrang unfair na rin sa kaniya. Lalo na ilang beses sa online or sa television nade-deny ko siya," Klarisse shared.

She also recalled the sadness of pretending Christrina as her “best friend” on dates, even bringing friends along to avoid suspicion.

Despite the struggles, Christrina remained by Klarisse's side and chose love above all.

"Pero na-realize ko po kasi na gusto ko lang ma-feel 'yung love na lang sa family namin. Kasi for sure naman 'pag naramdaman namin na tanggap kami, siguro 'di ko maisip na kailan kami matatanggap ng ibang tao. Iyon na po 'yung mindset ko," Christrina explained.

Now that their relationship is finally public, Klarisse and Christrina are slowly adjusting to being more open in public. They're also deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from fans and netizens.

"(Ngayon) nakikita ko 'yung mga post ng iba na bakit kami may social distancing pa rin. Kasi naga-adjust pa rin po kami na parang nakakapanibago ng sobra," Christrina said with a shy laugh.

Meanwhile, Klarisse takes comfort in knowing their story has inspired others in the LGBTQIA+ community.

"Alam ko mahirap talaga, pinoproseso talaga siya Meme. Talagang pagtanggap na tanggap mo nang buo 'yung sarili mo doon mo magagawang ilabas talaga sa lahat ng tao 'yun e. Sabi ko nga sa kanila na 'pag dumating 'yung panahon na handa na kayo, nandito tayo mga kasama sa community para yakapin sila," she said.
