Klea Pineda also penned an appreciation message for the people who showered her love and support.
Klea Pineda is celebrating her first Pride Month this year and she made sure to make it a memorable one with a simple, but inspiring photoshoot.
Klea shared on Instagram two photos from the shoot, where she wore a black bodysuit and fishnet leggings, showing off some of her tattoos.
In a lengthy caption, the Sparkle star shared how much love and support she has been getting from the community since she came out a few months ago.
“By being honest and true to myself, I finally found MY people. These people help me in this journey as I gain more confidence, have better self-awareness, and be more comfortable in presenting my authentic self,” she mused.
Klea added, “Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na I don't have to hide in the shadows anymore because of all of you! For that, I cannot be more thankful.”
The actress also penned how thankful she is for those messaging her about how her courage inspired them.
“I am beyond grateful to be an inspiration to some of you in my own little ways. I wish I can hug each and every one of you to repay the immense love that you give me,” Klea continued.
Klea concluded her post with a message of solidarity to the community.
“In a world where we have to fight for our basic needs and rights, know that I am here for you, and I stand in solidarity with you! Happy Pride Month, loves!”
On her 24th birthday last March, Klea proudly announced that she is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“I want the world to know that I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community,” a part of her Instagram post read.
