
Klea Pineda is embracing a healthier lifestyle after shedding 20 kilograms in just five months.
In a report on Unang Balita on Friday, July 10, the actress shared that she started gaining weight during the pandemic. Although she tried different workouts through the years, she admitted that she struggled to stay committed to her fitness goals.
She told GMA News, "I wasn't fully committed, and I always had an excuse for a cheat day,"
Everything changed in February this year when she decided to take her health more seriously. According to Klea, self-love became her biggest motivation to stay disciplined with her routine.
"That pushed me to take my weight loss seriously," she said.
Since then, she has gone from 75 kilograms to her current weight of 55 kilograms.
For those hoping to begin their own fitness journey, Klea encouraged finding a diet that works best for one's lifestyle and staying consistent with regular exercise.
She said that commitment and consistency are key to achieving long-term results.
