Kokoro Kohatsu of the Japanese boy group Psychic Fever feels overwhelmed by the warm support he's been receiving from Filipino fans, especially following his recent collaboration with Lola Amour -- his first project with a Filipino artist.
Kokoro has collaborated with Lola Amour on the band's single "The Moment," which is the opening track of their second album, Love On Loop.
In an intimate media roundtable, Kokoro expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with Lola Amour, as it had been his dream to collaborate globally.
"First of all, I'm happy to be here. Kumusta kayo?" he happily greeted the press.
"He's been looking for a collaboration in the Philippines. Then, Warner Music proposed the collaboration. Pangarap n'ya rin po na mag-collab internationally, so he's very thankful for this opportunity." Kokoro added, as translated by his interpreter.
When asked who other Filipino artists he would love to collaborate with, Kokoro mentioned the Filipino boy bands SB19 and Ben&Ben.
"Tinitingnan n'ya po sa TikTok, he was impressed with Ben&Ben and SB19, [those were] the two artists he wanted to collaborate with," Kokoro said, as translated by his interpreter.
Last Friday, September 12, Kokoro was in the Philippines as a guest for Lola Amour's Love On Loop The Album Concert, where he joined the band and performed the songs "Raining in Manila" and "The Moment."
