It seems Sparkle actor and TikTok star Kokoy de Santos is having the time of his life being part of GMA's flagship gag show Bubble Gang.

Since it was announced last February that he's now an official Kababol, Kokoy has proven himself a versatile talent and is now part of a hit sketch with Sef Cadayona titled 'Bes Friends.'

In his exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com on Tuesday, May 10, the Kapuso actor revealed that Sef was one of those who pitched the concept of Ella (Sef Cadayona) and Olivia (Kokoy de Santos).

He shared, “Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, itong 'Bes Friends' sketch, si Mr. Sef Cadayona ang nag-pitch nito, isa sa mga nag-pitch nito. Bago pa man namin gawin, nabanggit na niya sa akin ito.”

Kokoy added, “Siguro mga few weeks or few days bago mag-start kami and sobrang happy lang ako, dahil naisip at naisama ako ni Sef sa idea na 'yun at thankful ako kay Sef sa pagkakataon at sa tiwala na binibigay sa lahat ng proyektong nakakasama ko siya.”

The Bubble Gang comedian also didn't mind portraying a kikay and conyo girl for this sketch, since he also firmly believes in the concept.

He explained, “While doing the sketch or while taping it doon siya nabubuo and si Sef, hindi siya nauubusan ng ideas. And para tanggapin 'yung sketch na 'yun, parang wala namang dahilan para hindi tanggapin, kasi unang una sa lahat may tiwala ako sa team.

“May tiwala ako kay Sef na hindi niya ipi-pitch itong bagay na 'to kung hindi naman talaga siya nagtiwala din dun. So sino ba ako para hindi magtiwala rin sa kanya at doon sa sketch na 'yun.

“Ayun, hindi ako natakot and buong puso ko siyang tinanggap, dahil gusto ko at nagtitiwala ako sa mga tao at doon mismo sa script.”
