Ji Chang-wook will resume filming for a Netflix drama.

Korean actor Ji Chang-wook has completely recovered from COVID-19.

According to a Soompi report posted on August 11, a source from the South Korean actor's agency, Glorious Entertainment, confirmed that Ji Chang-wook has fully recovered from COVID-19. It also said that the actor will resume filming for the Netflix series The Sound of Magic.

"Ji Chang-wook was judged to be fully recovered from COVID-19, and he has been discharged from the quarantine facility. He will return to [filming] 'The Sound of Magic,'" the source said.

On July 26, Ji Chang-wook was reported to have tested positive for the virus and as a precaution, filming for his upcoming Netflix drama was halted.

Meanwhile, his co-stars Choi Sung-eun and Hwang In-yeop tested negative for COVID-19.

The Sound of Magic is described as a sentimental music drama about a girl named Yun Ai (Choi Sung-eun,) who becomes an adult too quickly, and the mysterious magician Lee Eul (Ji Chang-wook), an adult who wishes to be a child forever.

Chang-wook is known for his Korean dramas including Empress Ki, Suspicious Partner, 7 First Kisses, Lovestruck in the City, Healer, and Backstreet Rookie, among others.
