B.I. is reigning over music charts across the globe with 'Waterfall.'

Korean rapper Kim Hanbin or B.I. is topping music charts worldwide with his debut single "illa illa" from his first studio album Waterfall.

Waterfall is his first-ever solo record, produced through his own label 131 Label under IOK Music.

The album has 12 tracks including the title track "Waterfall" and collaborations with singer Lee Hi and Epik High's Tablo.

As of June 3, Waterfall has topped the iTunes album chart in 20 regions including Brazil, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, and the Philippines, since its release on June 1.

The album also entered the Top 10 of the iTunes Top Album chart in the United States, and in China, it ranked No. 1 on QQ Music's Best Selling Daily Albums chart. On Melon, all songs including the title track “illa illa” charted on the Recent 24Hits.

A music video for "illa illa" has also been released, showing clips of B.I. swimming ashore, emerging from a dark tunnel, running freely, and watching fireworks.

B.I. wrote the lyrics and co-composed “illa illa” with artists MILLENNIUM, Kang Uk-jin, Diggy, and SIHWANG.

According to B.I, the song is about his life and is the first song he wrote “after being left alone in the world.”

The record is a highly-anticipated release from the rapper, following his departure from iKON in 2019.

B.I. has also collaborated with Destiny Rogers and Tyla Yaweh for "Got It Like That," which was produced by The Stereotypes and was released in May.
