Koreen Medina, the Biriterang Beauty Queen of StarStruck Season 6, regards singing as her most favorite pastime, her longest developing skill, and her first love.

“It’s everything, I grew up singing. I’ve been singing since I was six years old so it’s my life, my first love, more than acting. I love singing with all my heart,” she declared.

When she joined the reality-based artista search, she felt that she didn’t get to showcase her singing because she got eliminated early in the competition. Singing Forever and Pakinggan Ang Iyong Puso on the Playlist allowed her to do exactly what she joined showbiz for – to develop and share her love for music.

“First time ko gawin sa GMA na kumanta ako kasi usually acting, so dito ko mapapakita [at] masho-showcase 'yung side kong 'yun, 'yung passion ko,” she added.

Though she’s only beginning her journey as a celebrity, she already has a vision for herself 10 years hence.

“Successful singer-actress – that’s really my goal. I want to have my music school, recording studio, albums. I want to write my own songs, tech kids to sing… Having those dreams, nagkakaroon talaga [ako] ng drive to move forward,” she concluded.
