Queen of All Media Kris Aquino pleads everyone to take their COVID-19 vaccine immediately to protect themselves from the highly-contagious disease.
With the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines reaching 1,240,716 as of yesterday, June 2, TV host and content creator Kris Aquino used her social media platforms to encourage everyone, especially those eligible, to take their shots as soon as possible.

In her Instagram post, Kris revealed that she was advised by her doctor to take the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
She posted, “@attygideon & i have both gotten our first doses of our vaccine. My doctors chose AstraZeneca as my safest option.”
Although she already got her first dose, Kris has been taking all the extra precautions, including wearing a mask, especially if she's meeting someone indoors.
“But we are still masked and we're all taking the necessary precautions (new cases reported today are still 5,177)… thank you for the visit & the food vice gov @markleviste, although i believe you should get your vaccine soonest because you're not just protecting yourself, you must get your vaccine for the safety of your constituents, friends, family, and loved ones.”
According to the Department of Health (DOH), the AstraZeneca vaccine reduces the risk of symptomatic COVID-19 by an average of 70.4%.
