Kris Aquino airs her side on rumored relationship with Mark Leviste in a now-deleted post.

Kris Aquino has spoken up about rumors linking her to Vice Governor Mark Leviste.

In an Instagram post on June 19, Kris cleared the air and stated her take on the rumors for her "peace of mind.”

Kris wrote on her caption, “Without my knowledge or consent, someone spoke about what's supposed to be his 'taking care of me in [Los Angeles] plus 'our happy and full of love relationship,”

The now-deleted post didn't specify any name, but the post came days after Leviste hinted at romance brewing in their friendship, saying that he has something to draw inspiration and happiness from.

Mark was quoted to have said during a radio interview that he's taking care of Kris in Los Angeles. "I'm here right now in Los Angeles, taking care of her, keeping her company, while her son Bimby is back home in Manila.”

Kris clarified that they're still “adjusting to each other's already set habits and ways.”

The media personality added that she remains hopeful that they can still work through their differences while there have been unavoidable conflicts between them,

“Though a part of me realizes the lack of wisdom in embarking on a relationship while undergoing treatment,” she admitted.

Back in February, Kris said that Mark was only her male best friend. In an Instagram post from May hinted at something romantic developing by writing in her caption, "We are proof that love comes when you least expect it."

Meanwhile, Kris gave an update about her kids, and her pride for youngest son Bimby. In the same post, Kris hinted that her 16-year-old son has reached out to his estranged father James Yap.

She mentioned growing up without a father, and wanting to prevent Bimby from suffering the same fate.

“From the time Bimb was eight, he had the freedom to decide. Now at 16, I told him: 'When someone reaches out after seven years, and there's a chance for peace, then everyone wins.”

Kris then shared that on Father's Day, Bimb had contacted his father. “He took the first step towards rebuilding a relationship that I know will require some time to repair, pero ang mahalaga ay nagsimula na."

Kris and James got married in 2005 and welcomed their son Bimby in 2007. They separated in 2010, and their marriage was annulled in 2012.

Currently, Kris is in Los Angeles, California undergoing treatment for her five autoimmune diseases.
