A year after being diagnosed with autoimmune disease, Kris Aquino expresses gratitude to her two sons, Josh and Bimby, “My sons make that part of my life, EASIEST.”
Kris Aquino summed up all the things she has experienced a year after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.

In a lengthy Instagram post yesterday, September 26, Kris said that she is grateful for having full support of his sons, Josh and Bimby, while facing this ordeal.
She wrote, “It is a full year since my initial autoimmune diagnosis. we flew to Singapore a few days after for my 1st blood paneling & consultation w/ my lead doctor... nag promise ako recently that in this feed, you'd only see SMILES and none of my anger or tears.
“Looking back, these 2 boys gave me every reason i needed to not give up... kuya josh & bimb have never ever complained na nabago talaga kami dahil sa mga autoimmune conditions ko.”
Kris added, “BUT, this is a GRATITUDE post... God gave me sons who NEVER complained nor questioned bakit ganito ang buhay namin, bakit pag gustong makasakit, kadalasan damay sila sa pamba-bash, at bakit uploaded ang ilang moments ng buhay namin na kung iba ang naging nanay nila, may complete privacy sana sila.”
The TV host/actress also revealed that she was preparing for the worst, but her doctors here in the Philippines and Singapore made sure that she would be fine and healthy.
“This year has been a 'BONUS', i was already preparing for the very worst... but our Creator probably didn't want to break the hearts of these 2 innocent souls kaya nagbigay ng “extension” dahil magagaling ang mga duktor ko both here at home 🇵🇭 & in 🇸🇬. thank you for seeing the good in me as a parent, pero hindi ako dapat puriin sa aspetong yun, because my sons make that part of my life, EASIEST.”

Last, Kris also paid tribute to her late parents, democracy icons Senator Ninoy Aquino and former President Cory Aquino.
“I wanted to say THANK YOU, jackpot na kasi ako- i was given parents, in particular my MOM who until death gave only unconditional LOVE... and i have SONS who teach me every day how to effortlessly give and accept LOVE.
“For the gift of being born to my parents and giving birth & living life with my sons-i am proof, God blesses much more than we deserve. #keepthefaith a chance to be reassured that a more peaceful life is possible.”
