Despite facing health issues, Kris Aquino finds overwhelming joy and hope with her sons, Bimby and Josh.
On Instagram, the Queen of All Media shared another update through a reel featuring their family celebrating Bimby's birthday. Kris is seen happily greeting her son, who returned the affection with hugs and kisses.
Yet, followers were also surprised as the former talk show host revealed details about Bimby's “special girl.”
"I never thought I'd be excited for the day when Bimb really likes a girl. He told me he feels she's special," she wrote. "My birthday wish for my bunso is that she does become his first girlfriend, and who knows, God willing also his last yes."
Kris expressed her excitement about seeing her son in love and showed support for his courtship.
"I'll be very blessed to have her for my daughter-in-law (in 7-9 years?)… I've been asking Bimb the past couple of weeks if 'we' can send her flowers, balloons, candies/chocolates, food, 1/2 of a couple hoodie in white since it's summer. I asked Bimb if she had a new phone- he freaked and said, 'Mama, chill. You'll overwhelm her because she'll know it's not from me but from you. Please let it flow?'"
The celebrity mom also admitted how much Bimby has sacrificed to take care of her, making her more determined to let him fully enjoy his youth.
Meanwhile, in the same post, Kris shared an update on her health and an upcoming project with Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes.
"As for me, I have [one] more infusion session of Rituxan. This is already my second cycle- it's a very strong immunosuppressant, but I've gotten encouraging results," she added.
"The people I will be working with under the team created by my godson Dingdong Dantes will just need to take extra precautions. There was supposed to be a final presentation earlier (meaning April 18), but I asked for a resked. I didn't want to see what my comeback show was going to look and sound like, because this is Bimb's weekend, and later we're eating out (only my 2nd time since coming home) with very close family."
Kris is currently battling nine autoimmune diseases and continues to recover from treatment and surgery.
Despite this, the actress-host has revealed plans to return with a new video podcast and continues to support Bimby's dreams and love life.
